CytaCoat attends the 2023 Advanced Polymer Science and Engineering conference and makes poster presentation

CytaCoat’s Senior Chemist, Dr Jan Tejbrant, attended the 4th International Conference on Advanced Polymer Science and Engineering on 23-25 October 2023 in Valencia. This Polymer Connect Conference brings together industry professionals and academia experts with common interests including characterization of synthetic and natural polymers, polymers in chemistry, tissue engineering, human health, polymer hybrids, nanocomposites, polymer biomaterials, biomedical and biodegradable polymers, polymer recycling and re-use, polymers for the environment, functional polymers, and others.

Excellence in polymer chemistry, whilst maintaining green credentials, is fundamental to CytaCoat’s proprietary covalently bound anti-fouling, anti-biofilm coating technologies for medical devices. Dr Tejbrant presented a poster at the conference highlighting some of the innovation being deployed on some of our current product programs, which focus on urinary catheters and wound care materials.
