Poster presentation at EuroBioFilms 2024

Linda Bergström (Program Manager and QA/RA) and Dr Ana Romero (Scientific Advisor) attended the EuroBioFilms 2024 conference in Copenhagen from 26th to 29th June and presented CytaCoat’s first poster detailing the unique protective anti-biofilm/anti-fouling coating for medical devices.

The poster, titled ‘Long-term protective hydrogel coating for medical devices that blocks biofilm formation by multiple species’, was based on collaborative research with the University of Southampton, and co-authored with Professor Sandra Wilks.

EuroBiofilms is the premier bi-annual European event for everyone with clinical and scientific interest in biofilms, with the theme of this 8th conference “From environment and basic science to serious clinical infections – bridging for solutions.
